Privacy Policy
This English version is provided for convenience only. The German version is legally binding.
1. Data protection at a glance
This website is for information purposes only. We do not use cookies, do not use analytics tools and have not implemented any advertising trackers. When you visit our website, only technically necessary data (server log files) is processed in order to display the page.
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
FAM Real Gesellschaft für private Immobilienwerte mbH
Silberburgstraße 157
70178 Stuttgart, Germany
Phone: +49 711 5285047 0
Email: ed.laer-maf@ofni
The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
3. Hosting (IP-Projects)
Our website is hosted by IP-Projects GmbH & Co. KG, Am Vogelherd 14, 97295 Waldbrunn, Germany.
Each time the website is accessed, our host automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
Storage period and anonymisation: IP addresses are stored in personally identifiable form for 7 days in order to detect and fend off automated attacks on the server (e.g. using IPBan). After this period, the IP addresses are anonymised. The remaining server log files are stored with anonymised IP addresses and automatically deleted after 1 month.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of the website). We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with IP-Projects.
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
5.1 Contact by email (mailto link)
No contact software (such as forms) is installed on our website. If you click on the email button, your own email program will open.
In doing so, your email address and the content of your message are transmitted to us. The data is processed in order to handle your enquiry on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures/contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communication). We delete this data as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies and there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
5.2 Applications by email
If you send us an application by email, we process your personal data (e.g. name, contact details, cover letter, CV, references, qualifications) for the purpose of carrying out the application process.
The legal basis for the processing is Section 26(1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in conjunction with Art. 88 GDPR (initiation of an employment relationship). If you have given us your consent to further processing (e.g. inclusion in a pool of applicants for future positions), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is an additional legal basis. You can withdraw such consent at any time with effect for the future.
Within our company, only those persons involved in the decision on filling the position (management and HR department) have access to your application data.
If your application is unsuccessful, your application documents will be deleted no later than 6 months after the conclusion of the application process, unless other legitimate interests preclude deletion. If your application is successful, the data will be transferred to your personnel file.
6. No cookies & third-party providers
This website does not use cookies. No information on your device is accessed, which is why the consent requirement under Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) does not apply. We do not use any external fonts (such as Google or Adobe Fonts) or embedded videos from third-party platforms.
7. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR).
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR).
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR).
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR).
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
- Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
- Withdraw consent given with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR), without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. The supervisory authority responsible for us is: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg), Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany, phone: +49 711 615541-0, email: ed.lwb.idfl@elletstsop.
You can contact us at any time at the address given above.
